The condition of celebrated actor Patrick Swayze has continued to deteriorate in recent days following the discovery that his cancer has now spread to his liver.
According to reports in the National Enquirer, this has prompted Swayze to begin making final goodbyes to friends and family as the chances of a recovery to the disease become increasingly bleak. In January 2008, Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a particularly fatal condition that claims the lives of nearly all patients within a single year.
Swayze had been receiving treatment for the disease through the radical pioneering technology called the Cyberknife , a form of radiotherapy designed to address infected areas that are particularly difficult to reach through more traditional means.
Swayze returned home to spend time with his friends and family following the completion of filming his role in The Beast, an A&E television show starring Swayze as a veteran FBI agent who has taken a rookie officer played by Travis Fimmel.
The undercover law enforcement drama required long days that frequently involved over twelve hours of work. However, his decline in health has made it difficult for him to promote the program, and the series was reported as having been canceled earlier this week. Earlier this year, Swayze starred in Powder Blue, a seedy drama with an ensemble cast including Forest Whitaker, Jessica Biel, Ray Liotta and others.

I hate to read or even hear of anyone having to go through the pain and suffering this cancer can bring with it. Patrick Swayze has all my prayers can offer as well as his family. I have never missed a movie he has been in. He makes himself into the character to the point that you sometimes forget it’s a movie. He is and always will be one of my heros of all time.
I think the press should now leave Patrick and his family alone now.
no more photo’s of him so ill should be taken, Let him and his family have some time alone. God bless you Patrick, may God help you, go through this as simply as possible.
