The IOC did reject Chicago while Obama was president, however.

Clearly, Chicago’s rejection can’t be a case of Obama insufficiently banishing the ignominy of the Bush administration so early in his presidency, if the consideration of Chicago in the first place was just fine with the IOC under Bush.

There’s some serious idiocy out there.

Obama bin laden is doing everything he can to make our country look weak in the world, and setting us up for another 9/11 type of strategy. He bows to muslim prince’s, and looks down his nose at our allies, and now THIS debacle! This man is NOT presidential material, and never was. I honestly believe he HATES our country because he keeps doing this stuff. He does NOT ever salute our flag, and talks down to other countries about America. He’s a total disgrace to our nation, and he should be IMPEACHED and Arrested for TREASON!

In fact, the contortions those on the left go through in order to arrange things in their heads so that such a dumba$$ can manipulate and connive with whoever to achieve his evil ends are almost as interesting to watch as any old Olympic games!

I’ve never been able to stomach the two-faced approach the left uses against anyone they can’t stand. Bush was a complete moron, yet he was capable of manipulating the weather in order to “kill the black people of New Orleans.” He was so stupid he believed the intelligence and used it to manufacture a war in Iraq just to get revenge on poor Saddam Hussein.

Do you on the left realize just how insane and, well, stupid, you appear to anyone who really looks at the things you say?

Sen. Burris, there are many reasons why Chicago lost its bid. One of the biggest was the arrogance of the new president and his wife. This couple has bought into the hype that the Chicago machine has been force-feeding the nation. The world, however, does not see them as some magical team who can slay all foes via their charm and wit.

Nope. The world has not bought into the hope and change hype. Instead, they see your power couple as two people who, despite being given the best their nation has to offer in lifestyle, education and undeserved respect, still despise that nation and a good chunk of that nation’s people. This country might have been hated under Bush, but at least there was some respect floating around with that hate.

Today even the French think we’re in deep trouble. That is a disturbing trend you would well be concerned about, If you all could leave off the excuse making and pandering. But no, you would rather continue to whine and cry and make excuses for the man you elected despite every warning that he was clearly not ready to lead a Boy Scout troop much less one of the most powerful nations on Earth.

I’m sure it’s too much trouble for you to bother to look at anything as crass as a fact. Instead, you’ll continue to believe whatever crud is crammed down your throat via the media right up until the time your entire world collapses under the weight of the president and his wife’s combined ego and hype.

Could you all do something for the rest of us, though? Could you rein in your guy and get him back to work so maybe we could not have another 3,000 Americans die because your president chose to ignore the real world?

i don’t mind comments on anyone here but the comments we were editing were a lot of Hate filled stuff. I just meant keep the discussion on topic. I believe burris is doingthe same thing congress and the white house have been doing for over a year now. I apologize for the ambiguity and thank you for bringing it up.
