In late breaking news, sources report that Ryan Seacrest, the radio personality and host of Fox’s hit television show “American Idol,” has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man accused of stalking him. Ryan Seacrest has had many “run ins” with potentially hazardous fans. He has said in the past that it is just part of the business of being famous. Seacrest must really have noticed something out of the ordinary with this guy in order to pursue a restraining order.
When the accused man, Chidi Benjamin Uzomah, Jr., 25, appeared at the “E! Entertainment” television studios Friday and was detained, Seacrest’s attorneys were able to quickly obtain the stay-away order. The filing claims Uzomah was trying to get close to Seacrest, and that he was also carrying a knife on his person. Police have yet to confirm any details on this incident, and jail records indicated Uzomah has yet to be booked. We will keep you posted as the story develops.
