Catherine Hardwicke Says Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Are A Couple

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, stars of the movie “Twilight New Moon”, are a couple according to Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the first “Twilight” film. Catherine is now saying that the constant rumors of Rob and Kristen dating in real life are true. This is a surprise as Hardwicke has been a rather vocal denier of the relationship up to now. In an interview with Time magazine Hardwicke stated, “I didn’t have a camera in the hotel room. I cannot say. In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn’t happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film. I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, ‘OK, I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.’” Catherine even went into more detail as she told of how she warned Robert about pursuing a romance with Kristen. Catherine said, “After I cast him, I told Robert, don’t even think about having a romance with her . . . She’s under 18. You will be arrested.” Catherine only was involved with the first “Twilight” movie and had no part in “Twilight New Moon” or “Twilight Eclipse”, which casts doubt on how much the director actually knows about Rob and Kristen’s supposed relationship.
