Megan Fox Contrasts Herself from “Tigress” Angelina Jolie

Megan Fox, the comely young star of Michael Bay’s “Transformers” movies, and more recently, “Jennifer’s Body,” spoke to Contact Music about the constant comparisons she gets to Oscar-winning actress and humanitarian activist, Angelina Jolie. Jolie appeared on the cover of Esquire magazine as their “Sexiest Woman Alive” in a see-through silver teddy, drenched in water, with a “come hither and I’ll devour you” look. Megan Fox insists she is no “tigress” like Angelina.
The two actresses often are compared for their looks, both stunningly beautiful with dark hair and killer bone structure, and for their equally wild statements to the media. But Megan Fox says she is Angelina’s polar opposite, that the two are worlds apart. “People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic. I’m the opposite,” the twenty-three year old Fox told Contact Music. “I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that,” Fox said.
Megan Fox recently came under fire when she compared “Transformers” director, Michael Bay to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Fox says the comparisons to Jolie are wrong, because people take her too seriously, that they interpret her sarcasm and self-deprecating humor as serious statements. “Sarcasm doesn’t translate in print, at all…” Fox said. Megan Fox also differentiated herself from Jolie, saying she often doubts her own acting skills, something unlikely to be heard from Oscar-winning Angelina.
