Kim Cattrall, who played the highly sexual Samantha Jones in the hit television series “Sex and the City”, says that the trend of older women dating younger men is over. Kim believes that women should expand on what has been started by the “cougar” revolution and enjoy the fruits of the changes. Kim said in a recent interview, “Cougar is passe. I think we’re on to something else now. It’s not about kitten or cougar – we’re moving beyond those stereotypes. It’s about so much more than just being a woman on the prowl – there’s a lot more going on than that. We’ve done the work, let’s enjoy the party. Let’s not limit ourselves to labels. ‘Cougar’ makes it all feel one-dimensional. It’s not.” Kim has recently had a break up with her younger partner, chef Alan Wyse, and thinks women should not limit themselves in relationships, but feel free to explore all possibilities.
