Jermaine Jackson, the eldest of the Jackson children, and brother of deceased pop icon, Michael, says that the Jackson family will remain together, despite the lawyers and money squabbles. The Jackson family gathered Tuesday for an early Thanksgiving celebration; though Jackson matriarch, Katherine Jackson, does not celebrate holidays due to her Jehovah’s Witness religious beliefs, it has been a tradition of the Jackson children to all gather one day during the week of Thanksgiving to celebrate being a family.
Jermaine noted how difficult it would be for the family, this year without Michael. But, he added, “That’s really, really important because we’re a family and throughout the years, the managers, the agents, and Hollywood have tried to come between that. What they don’t know is we were together before we came out here and we’re going to continue to be together.” Jermaine Jackson spoke to CNN about the Thanksgiving family gathering, at a Tuesday morning screening of his brother, Michael’s “This Is It” movie, for inner-city Los Angeles students.

I am so happy the Jackson family is having an early Thanksgiving celebration! I know Katherine cannot celebrate holidays because of her Jehovah’s Witness religion and that she is to absolutely shun her childen that have been disfellowshipped, like Michael and LaToya. I don’t know about the others. The JW religion is a very unloving religion to have such a doctrine and split up families.

excuse me dannyhaszard, but being offensive DOES NOT get your message across ESPECIALLY when she agrees with you!

This happen to a lady in Detroit — her husband killed a neighbor and she had to leave the JW religion. Isn’t this when you need your religion the most? Her husband killed, she didn’t kill anyone.

    Please note: Troll Alert!!!

The “real” Danny Haszard did not make that comment yesterday. I know Danny and he alerted me about this. It is certainly a shame when people lie and do such tactics and uses someone’s elses name for false purpose and to misdirect the real issue being discussed.

Besides not celebrating Thanksgiving Jehovah Witness don’t celebrate their birthdays,Mother’s Day and so on…
Personally I have granddaughters who’s mother is JW and during Christmas we gave them gifts just like my other grands but they made sure that what they took home was neither a card or gift wrapping with Christmas logos
They believe that when the world ends they are the only one who will survive.
    Hypocrite cult

Read your Bible!! Excommunication, shunning or disfellowshipping is Biblical. When you disagree with the Bible, you disagree with God. Scriptures to consider.
    1 Corinthians 5:1-5; 1 Corinthians 5:11-13: 2 Corinthians 2:8-11
    2 Corinthians 2:5-7; Hebrews 12:11; 1 Peter 1:14-16
    Proverbs 3:11, 12; James 5:14, 15; 1 Timothy 5:20
    2 John 9-11; Ezekiel 18:4
If we lived in Old Testament times you would be cut-off or killed for your flagrant sin. With Christian discipline there is always the hope that a practicer of sin will repent.

Hey look they mentioned Jehovah’s Witnesses. Let’s attack! They drink blood. They kill their neighbor in war. They don’t preach. They hide God’s personal name. Oh wait, am I confused with most the other religions.

Now that was funny, Danny Hazards comments. Someone smearing him like he spends all his time spamming the internet. But it was wrong. Return evil to no one, even really sad men from Bangor who stay up all night hoping to catch any news bulletin that includes the word “Jehovah” with his propaganda within the first ten minutes. That must tax his performance at work and hinder romantic relationships.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are a classic cult.

A cult does not require any set number of leaders, only the inerrant belief that they are the ONLY TRUE RELIGION. Nothing else matters once that ego kicks in and messes with their heads. Once that engages, it usually takes a life-changing event or change of circumstances to get them to reconsider their beliefs

The Jehovah Witness Watchtower society as an example is not benevolent and won’t let you leave their organization in peace.

So you think Jehovah’s Witnesses are a cult because they believe they are the true religion. And that is all it takes to be a cult, right? Congratulations, you just placed the first century Christian congregation in the same category. Do you think they did not believe they had the true religion? Do you think they did not remove habitual wrongdoers from their organization?

You know whats really ironic Voice of Reason? The guys in Waco and Jonestown celebrated Christmas Thanksgiving and Easter, the guys in Jonestown believed in the Trinity and pretty much everything you believe in, but they were wrong weren’t they? And for a secret, seperatist society JW’s spend an awful lot of time leading normal lives, working, shopping etc. PLUS going out in public talking to everybody who’ll listen, and they put their faith on the line an awful lot more than any other church I know of. By the way VoR what is YOUR religious belief? I’d love to do some reasearch on that for you!
