Professional golfing champion and Nike endorsee, Tiger Woods, was reportedly released from an Orlando, Florida hospital Friday. Tiger was taken to the hospital after his Cadillac SUV was found stuck in a tree near his home. It is not believed at this time that alcohol played any role in the accident.
According to Florida Highway Patrol reports, Tiger had just pulled out of his driveway when he struck a fire hydrant with the SUV, causing the front end of his vehicle to get wedged in a tree. CNN first reported the details of the accident, including the statement received by the network stating alcohol was not involved in the accident; however, the car wreck is still under investigation. Tiger Woods has been released, with reportedly only mild lacerations to his face.
At this time, there are no reports of any injuries that would affect his golf game, or any details that might affect his endorsement deals, but something is a little funny about the story. And due to that, and investigations by celebrity site TMZ, there are a few questions swirling about domestic issues and exactly why the back window of the SUV was busted out by a golf club. It seems if there are other details to tell, the Woods camp wants to keep them private, as of now. It will be interesting to see what further details emerge in the coming days.
