Grease Star Jeff Conaway Severely Injured

Actor Jeff Conaway, who has been on reality television shows over the last few years, but is best known for his role as Kanicki in the 1978 cult classic movie “Grease” has sustained major injuries after a freak fall on Monday. Conaway was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital Monday after the fall. The incident occurred in Jeff Conaway’s Los Angeles home, when the fifty-nine year old actor suddenly tumbled down a staircase. There are no further details as to what may have led to the actor’s fall, but he was taken from his home by ambulance to receive emergency medical treatment. Jeff Conaway’s girlfriend, Vicki Lizzi told TMZ.com that the actor sustained a broken hip, a broken arm, a fractured neck and a brain hemorrhage in the accident and is scheduled to undergo surgery. Unfortunately, as his stint on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab” showed, Conaway has struggled with alcohol and drug abuse in his adult life. There is no further news at this concerning whether or not use of any substance, or foul play, had a role in Jeff Conaway’s staircase fall.
