Anna Kendrick, Oscar nominated actress for the hit movie “Up In The Air”, wants Adam Lambert, American Idol runner up, to be her escort for the Oscars. Anna and Adam have known each other for a long time and are friends. It seems these two friends have kept in touch and both have had a fantastic year in the spotlight with Anna landing a role in “Up In The Air” and Adam being runner up in American Idol and also having a hit album. Anna said when asked about taking Adam to the Oscars, “Um, he’s a good time. He’s fun. He’s a really, really fun dude.” What a great way for two new stars, who have been long time friends, to celebrate their new found fame than going together to the Oscars. Anna Kendrick gave a stellar performance in “Up In The Air”, which also stars veteran actor George Clooney, and we hope she wins the “Best Supporting Actress” award.

Going with an old friend, who is lots of fun as well- a great ideal.l
I loved her in Up In The Air and what a hoot if she and Adam could play in a movie together. Man I bet they’d laugh their socks off. I think it is great Anna can hang with Adam. He seems like a nice young man. I recall seeing him help one of the Idol contestants come down stairs on TV once. He held her hand and helped guide her down a bunch of stairs as she wore this long evening gown and really high heels. She was Lil Rounds and as she came off the steps all eyes were on her decent. He made her look glamourous. Yes, I would love for Anna to go with her friend Adam. I can’t wait to see what she will wear. They should coordinate outfits!
That would be great going with a friend, they are such a nice looking couple and she is new to the business and so is Adam….They would all have there eyes on them……no couple would look better
Hooray for Ana!!! Hope she really gets Adam to be her escort..love her!
She knows him for a long time because Adam Lambert was a plant on American Idol.
LOL at the comment that Adam Lambert was a ‘plant’ on American Idol. What is that supposed to even mean? That you can’t believe that someone so talented made it there himself? How insulting to both the show and to him. Or that because he was in the theater industry and knew Anna and other industry people that he must ‘know’ people. It that were true, he wouldn’t have had to go on American Idol in order to get noticed or signed to a major label.
