The New Orleans Saints made history last night with their first ever Super Bowl Win. This victory represents an awakening of sorts for our Country. The Saints Super Bowl Victory shows the world that New Orleans is back. Yes there are still troubles with the Crescent City, there will always be troubles as is the case with any city. This was a milestone though as New Orleans was virtually devastated in 2005 and many were writing off the city as a waste of time. Due to the dedicated hard work of the men and women who refused to give up on this Historic City, New Orleans can once again hold her head up high. Quarterback Drew Brees shows this spirit as he and his family live in the New Orleans and not in the suburbs. They have made New Orleans their home as have countless others. New Orleans is not perfect nor will it ever be. But today the people of New Orleans have something else they can be proud of, the New Orleans Saints: Super Bowl Champions.
