Tanith Belbin: Hot Photos & Timely Tweets Gain Figure Skater Celebrity Status

Tanith Belbin has not even skated yet in the 2010 Olympics, yet her name is being Twittered almost constantly and photos from her recent photo shoot for Men’s Health are making the rounds.

One subject of conversation is her roommate at Olympic Village who is none other than Johnny Weir. It is said that her room has aroma candles and Audrey Hepburn posters on the wall. Of course the interested public is interpreting this information as proof of a hot love affair between the two, but Belbin’s tweets that address the issue say no.

“Can’t believe there’s so much interest in my rooming with J! ppl are reading so much into it.We just wanted our own rooms! Nothing personal”

Belbin has told the press that they are close because their careers have followed similar tracks and that he comes to visit her in Detroit.
