Sharon Osbourne Regrets Comment About Susan Boyle’s Looks

According to Sharon Osbourne, she sometimes says things, and then thinks “Oh s**t, why did I have to say that?”

Apparently, such was the case last year when Sharon caused the big flap by describing Scottish singer Susan Boyle as having been “hit by the ugly stick.”

Sharon now says that she regrets having said those thoughts out loud.

She said: “I didn’t want to hurt her at all. Yes, I do think she looks like a slapped a**e, and she has been hit with the ugly stick, but she’s laughing all the way to the bank, so she’s got the last laugh on me. I do regret saying that because she is not the sort of woman to counter me, so it’s not fair, but somebody asked me in public and I went for it – foot in mouth.”

Osbourne admits that she sometimes gets in trouble for not playing by the rules, but she’s not going to change.

“Life is too short to pretend to be something you’re not. I am what I am: a loose cannon and an absolute bl**dy nutter, but basically I’m a good person and if I’m your friend, I’m your friend for life.”
