Shia LaBeouf Says His Father is a Scary Dude

Shia LaBeouf has always wanted to please his father, but that hasn’t always been possible, as his father wasn’t around for much of his life.

“My father is the sweetest man in the world and the scariest dude all at the same time,” says Shia in an interview with Glamour Magazine. “Nobody affects me to the magnitude that he does, emotionally. He’s got the power to ruin me because my whole life has become about trying to please him, because he wasn’t around much for me.”

Currently Shia’s father lives in a tepee in Montana on a plot of land which Shia purchased for him.

Shia’s relationship with his mother is far better.

He said: “She’s a rock. She’s cement. She’s a (expletive) angel. She walks on clouds.” Shia’s mother lives in a house about 10 minutes from Shia’s house, which he bought for her.
