Kim Kardashian Voted OFF DWTS

New York (CMR) - Well, she wasn’t exactly Kristi Yamaguchi, but Kim Kardashian tried her best.
Too bad it just wasn’t good enough.
In the end, it was Kim and her partner Mark Ballas, who won it last year with Yamaguchi, who were eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. It was by no means a shocker. Kim just didn’t really seem into the competition. Her three performances lacked any kind of emotion or passion, and all she seemed interested in was playing dress-up.
But for the first time in awhile, I was fine with either of the bottom two stars to go. I liked Cloris for about 10 minutes in the first episode, but her schtick got real old (no pun intended), real fast. I’m also glad that low-rated Rocco was safe, and safe early, because he tries, and he’s truly likable. If he sticks around, he could be this season’s Cristián. Could.
Jessica Simpson did her country thing. Whatevs. Step Up actress and dancer Jenna Dewan did some dance with lights all over her. Um, OK. But the best part of the night was when my So You Think You Can Dance boyfriend, Pasha, and his partner (and fellow SYTYCD competitor) Anya danced. Sigh. I’ve missed him. He and Anya rocked out the paso doble and showed everyone how it should be done. It also prepared me for tonight’s Dance Canada return.
History shows the next two dances will either be the tango or the jive. Can’t you just see Misty May and Maks busting out their intensity in a hot, sexy tango? Or the ever-energetic and joyful Warren and Kym hopping to a jive? I’m giddy.
