The Gossip Girl show will try to draw in a more diverse audience this week with a cameo performance by Lady GaGa, the flamboyant singer who always causes a stir with her outrageous costumes. Lady GaGa will be performing her new single “Bad Romance” in a show that is set up by Blair, played by Leighton Meester, in order to impress her friends at NYU. A clip released online shows a new mystery man standing next to Blair. Everyone will be wondering who this new “mystery man” is. This episode comes right behind the controversial “threesome” episode seen last week that was more hype than content. The producers of the show have been desperately trying to expand the audience of Gossip Girl, which consists of mainly 21 to 28 year old females. Lady GaGa is always a head turner so this week’s episode “The Last Days of Disco Stick” might be the one to draw in a new crowd.
