So You Think You Can Dance Results: Lauren in the Bottom 3!

To start out the So You Think You Can Dance results show, Cat announced that Lauren is ok. No word on what was wrong with her, but she is “hanging in there.”

First to learn the results were Kent and Jose, and as usual, Kent is safe and Jose was in the bottom three.

After that, Adechike and Billy learned their results. Since Billy was on fire last night, it was a HUGE a surprise to learn that Adechike was safe and Billy was in the bottom three.

Then Lauren and Robert came forward. They both had fabulous nights last night, but one of them has to be in the bottom three, and it was Lauren who landed in the bottom three.

At this point I’m starting to think about producer machinations. Lauren has no business being in the bottom three, but with her mysterious trip to the medic at the end of the show, and no word whatsoever on what is wrong with her, I think it’s entirely possible that they put her in the bottom three so they can let her go for a medical reason.

Just sayin…we’ll know more in a few minutes!

Jose, Lauren and Billy danced their solos and all three did their usual: Jose did a break dance, Billy did a ballet (?) and Lauren did a contemporary dance.

The judges made their decision. Nigel told Jose that they never anticipated that he would turn out to be as good as he turned out to be. He told Billy that his slightly androgenous style is connecting with producers and directors and choreographers around the world. He told Lauren that she is safe. Which means that Billy and Jose are going home!
