There has been a lot of debate surrounding autism, and certain vaccines that are given to children. Recent studies have largely dispelled the link between certain vaccines and the incidence of Autism..

Arlington (CMR) - Jumper is a story of a man who has the uncanny ability to teleport to anywhere he wants anytime. With that premise, he had an easy life with the money that he robbed from his local bank. But in the midst of all his enjoyment, he was eventually hunted by a group that has sworn to stop and eradicate all the Jumpers in the world.

It’s a unique film based on a wonderfully written novel of the same name.

Follow David Rice as he tries to use his talent to evade and defeat the enemy that wants nothing less than getting him killed.

Undoubtedly, Jumper presents a very unique plot that’s very refreshing to this age of so many sci-fi shows and movies. Hayden Christiansen and Samuel Jackson are two of today’s brilliant actors so nothing less than the best could be expected from the movie. Their background and caliber makes everyone in the movie community very excited to this interesting movie. World travelers can relate to the beauty of the movie as they shot the location in different places.

The actors and everyone in the movie are literally jumping from one country to another to make the movie as authentic as possible.

But would you jump for anticipation of this movie? Not quite. Although I have to acknowledge the artistry of the special effects, the story didn’t par compared to the movie’s special effects.

The movie starts in a remarkable fashion, introducing the watchers to the characters of the film as well as the remarkable sights. You’ll be enjoying the beautiful scenes as the main character goes back and forth from one scenic location to another. But gradually, the film becomes a monotonous bore as the movie becomes a collection of fighting and talking as they try to explain who they are and what they could do as if we needed more orientation after all the hype.

On the other hand, this movie is not that bad to put off.

The movie is still enjoyable to watch. But with the R-13 rating, I doubt that it could be a good movie for the whole family. The visual effects of the movie is stunning and the places they go is remarkable that it made me think how much effort did they actually put to this movie.

It’s too bad that the effort they put on to this movie didn’t resonate to the overall story of the movie.

CMR gives “Jumper” a rating of 3.5/5.
