DWTS Dancer Julianne Hough and Country Star BF Chuck Wicks Split

The “Dancing with the Stars” blond beauty and recent convert to country-music-singer, Julianne Hough, and her boyfriend of over a year, country music crooner, Chuck Wicks have reportedly taken a break from their romance. The two appeared together at Wednesday’s Country Music Awards, presenting a united front of support for one another, but made it clear they were not still an item.
Hough, 21, said her and Wicks, 30, remain great friends, and are still writing music together. “We’re both just really, really busy with our careers, and we spend a lot of time apart from each other—so we’re just taking a little break right now,” Hough said.
The couple had planned to spend the holidays together this year, as they had happily and peacefully spent last Christmas in Nashville together. “In Nashville…we just relaxed because we had been so busy,” said Wicks. The couple appeared as a dancing duo on last season’s DWTS, where the pairing on the dance floor seemed to further bond the cute couple. Julianne and Chuck had dodged wedding rumors during the show’s filming. Perhaps the time apart will give them a greater appreciation for each other, and they could possibly reunite in the future. Chuck Wicks is in the process of recording a new album, and Julianne Hough continues to star on the ABC hit show as a professional dancer.
