Dinner For Schmucks is probably the most hilarious film I have seen since…well…40-Year-Old Virgin. This movie which combines him with Paul Rudd is just funny. Very, very, very funny.  It’s rated PG-13, but I would not be embarrassed to see it with a younger child. The rating is due to the crude humor, and most of our younger kids unfortunately already know all there is to know about crude humor.

Some of the other reviews on this movie have criticized it for not going far enough into “sadistic glee” but I think it did fine. I don’t need to see people hurting to laugh. Laughing at an IRS man who is pretty darn stupid was funny enough for me.

Other reviews said it was contrived and lame. Au contraire! I have worked in the high-powered corporate world, and this kind of crap does happen. That’s why it’s so funny! Lame? I was slightly lame as we walked out of the theater, due to my sides hurting from laughing so much.
